2005年开始,华南理工大学机械与汽车工程学院陈扬枝教授,在前人研究的基础上发明了空间曲线啮合轮(Space Curve Meshing Wheel, SCMW)或称微小弹性啮合轮(Micro Elastic Meshing Wheel,MEMW)传动机构。并且,他与合作者研究建立了空间曲线啮合方程,并以此为基础建立了SCMW设计的基本的理论柜架和计算公式,包括重合度计算公式、传动比(包括最大和最小钩杆数)计算公式、几何尺寸计算公式等等;初步研究了基于数控加工技术的新型传动轮钩杆的靠模法制造方法及工艺。部分研究成果已经发表于《Journal of Mechanism and Machine Theory》、《Journal of Mechanical Design》、《Proceedings of 12th IFTOMM World Congress》等国际著名期刊和国际会议论文集,同时申请了几项专利。SCMW是基于发明者建立的空间曲线啮合理论、以空间曲线为接触齿形的新型齿轮机构,它特别适合于微小空间内交叉轴间的连续传动的要求,具有传统齿轮无法比拟的一些特点,例如,它的单级传动比可以大于12,最少齿数为4,其空间占用率(按体积计算)约为相同传动比的圆锥齿轮副的1/8,因此,可望广泛地应用于微小机械或微机械装置。陈杨枝教授的发明为齿轮啮合理论的研究开创了一个新的分支,SCMW的工业化应用将为未来齿轮行业的发展增添新的产品系列,带来无法估量的经济和社会效益。
共同发明弹性啮合与摩擦耦合传动机构
传统的机械传动方法有两种,一种是啮合传动,另一种是摩擦传动。1998年开始,陈扬枝作为第二发明人与黄平等发明并研究了弹性啮合与摩擦耦合(Elastic Engagement and Friction Coupled, EEFC)传动机构。陈扬枝教授主要研究了EEFC 带传动和小载荷EEFC轮传动机构,作为第一作者在《Journal of Mechanism and Machine Theory》等国内外期刊上发表了一系列研究论文。
陈扬枝,1965年出生于福建尤溪,1986年6月毕业于天津大学机械制造本科专业;1995年获工学博士学位于浙江大学机械学专业;2003-2004年间,他由国家公派在英国WARWICK大学纳米技术与微工程研究中心(Center for Nanotechnology and Micro Engineering)做访问学者一年。
